 Welcome from the President

Welcome to Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta! College years are the most transitional, yet most fun years a young woman will have. I am so please to say that I am making the most of my college years through Alpha Gam.

Through Alpha Gamma Delta, women will find friendship, service, scholarship, leadership and fun! Our chapter offers collegiate members a chance to go through their college years in a unique environment. The University of Idaho is filled with collegiate traditions that go back to our alma mater’s founding in 1898. One of the great legacies we pride ourselves in as a university is our Greek system. Alpha Gamma Delta has been a part of the Idaho legacy since 1958. Being a part of Alpha Gamma Delta is something that I hold close to my heart. Upon becoming a member of Alpha Gam, I was welcomed by an amazing group of talented, beautiful, selfless women whom I am proud to call my sisters. Through Alpha Gamma Delta I feel that I have grown more and become a stronger person than I would have become on my own.

Alpha Gamma Delta is always a place to come home to. There will always be someone to do your hair, talk to you about problems that you can’t figure out on your own, go on late-night ice cream runs and help you with your homework. However, the bond goes much deeper than that. In Alpha Gamma Delta I see these women as the sisters I never had growing up, my future bridesmaids and women whom I would do anything for to make them happy. I have made a family out of my 90 sisters that I will continue to love and care about long after my collegiate years. I encourage all young women to join a sisterhood. It will be four years of your life that will make the best memories.

If you have any questions about Alpha Gamma Delta or the Idaho Greek system, please don’t hesitate to contact me at the chapter house! 208.885.6668
